SURL A band that sings of honest, unapologetic youth through their charming tones.

SURL is a four-member Korean indie band, debuted in September 2018 with the title track from the Mint Paper compilation [bright #7].
Soon after, SURL released their first EP [Aren't You?] captured the ears of listeners, winning the Grand Prize at the 2018 Shinhan Card Rookie Project, the Excellence Award at the ‘EBS: Hello Rookie of the Year with KOCCA’, the ‘KOCCA Muse-on Artist’, and ‘The 21st CJ Culture Foundation Tune-Up’, making them more than just a super rookie, but a new star in the Korean band scene.
In October 2022, they released their first full album, [of us] with 10 songs, four years after their debut, and in April 2023. They successfully completed a 13-city tour of North America. SURL has become a global band by presenting music that reinterprets the typical styles of the genre with their own personality.
