Velocity

Velocity is a rising rock band from Myanmar, known for their powerful sound and dynamic storytelling. Formed in 2009, the band works in progressive and modern metal and released their debut album 'Lann' in 2019. The lineup features singer-songwriter RaNo on vocals, Tun Thu on guitar, Pyae Wa on bass, Aung Thu on drums, and Chris Chen on keyboards.

Representing Myanmar at 2023 ROUND in Indonesia, they captivated the audience in Jakarta and proved that the energy of rock transcends borders, and they returned to the festival for 2026 ROUND in Philippines. One of their signature tracks, 'Metamorphosis', drew an enthusiastic response from the Myanmar rock community, and the band is now working on a second album and a documentary recording the process, both set for the end of 2026. Combining the raw energy of rock with the voice of a new generation, Velocity continues to build its reputation as one of Myanmar's most influential bands.
