BARASUARA Barasuara is a Rock Alternative band, formed in Jakarta in 2012.

Their first gig in 2014 marked a phenomenal event for the Indonesian music industry and has been presenting impressive music quality through their performances on stage and recordings.
The first album, 'Taifun' released in 2015 was a massive hit and received a number of prestigious awards such as Best Alternative in AMI Awards, Best Live Act from Rolling Stone Editor's Choice Award and also nominated in many music awards.
Barasuara has a very unique musical sound which people consider as a 'very Indonesian' band, that inspires a lot of young Indonesian musicians.
After continuing their performances enthusiastically throughout Indonesia, they are preparing another album to surprise the industry in 2021.
